F***, I didn't know that until now - Mitch Halpern self-inflicted a gunshot wound which was reported to be the result of a domestic dispute on August 20, 2000. I am leaving the board at this moment for today, Goddamn!...

 

Mitch Halpern was a very good ref. His suicide a few years back was a big loss---R.I.P.

Well given Zab's past history of retaliating against fouls, and just fouling himself, I think the ref did the right thing trying to calm Zab down. Zab didnt retaliate, so maybe it worked!
