After Hatton-Mayrunner Cortez takes the cake, it's even mention negatively in his online career bio's now! FWIW Bayless may be the best.
I don't know the Ref's name, but I did see one fight where the champion got practically knocked out by a Columbian fighter in I want to say Veneszuela. I don't remember if it was Juan Coggi (champion). The fight should have been over, but the ref help the figher with a long count and believe it or not, the champ's cornerman came up on the apron and stood him up. Ref did nothing. The Columbian fighter was held at his corner for over five minutes. End result, Columbian fighter got knocked out later on in the fight. I hope one of you guys remember this fight. It happen many years ago. It could have been Coggi, but I am not sure. A disgrace.
The one that refed the Sven Ottoke vs Robin Reid. Where he warned Reid for punching and other various calls.
roger tilleman. the piece of **** that "officiated" reid-ottke. **** him. he should be banned from the sport.
That's Tillerman,he was even a judge 2 months ago in a world title fight in Germany (i forgot which),so he definitely is still here.
To me Micky Van is the worst. Sometimes for little things that may go unnoticed by most, but when added up by the end of the fight is huge. I actually like Vic Drakulich as a ref. You don't see him a whole lot, but breaks when appropriate and doesn't get himself involved unless neccesary.
There may be worse out there, but the worst I ever saw (mind you I only saw him ref one fight) was David Paris.
Juan Coggi-Eder Gonzalez I. Worst robbery of all-time. Worse than all the bad Escalera-Everett type decisions. The ref job is up there with Jack Welsh's handling of Ad Wolgast-Mexican Joe Rivers as the worst ever.
Good ones IMO, Bayless may be the best. Smoger, not far behind. I can't recall a situation between either of those two that were blatant f*ck ups. E. Cotton is hit and miss, he did terrible between Malignagi and Ndou. I guess nothing bad can be said about Sparkle Lee, yet. lol.
