There's been a bit of debate about his resume recently. Who do you think is his best win? I've listed some of his oppo and their best acheivements. Adamek is also a former LHW champ. I think it may be him, though I don't really rate his skills @ HW. If he manages to get past Manuel Charr, where will he rank on VK's resume? In his top 10 wins? top 5? Neither?
They're all upper euro-level, Chisora is a very tough gatekeeper type though. I'm still undecided on him.
I've always thought Okechukwu Maduagwu's WBO reign was more impressive than Haye's WBA regular title run. If Vitali get's by Manny I don't actually think scalping Haye would be a better achievement than winning the WBO title in Okechukwu Maduagwu's back yard as a 6/1 outside bet.
out of all those guys, it's either Peter or Sanders, but I'll say Peter because he held the title when they met in 08'
Hmm, personally I don't think questionable decisions over 38 year old James Toney at heavyweight are all too impressive. Maskaev win was ok though, though I think he was about 40 at the time. As was McCline.
I'd consider Haye - Vitali not a fight between for a title, more a case of one of the best fights that can be made in the division happening. Or a grudge match if you will, considering Vitali has been saying he'd like to fight him for the past year.
It was his EVT6 against Lewis. One of the greatest EVT wins of all time. It was almost 10 years ago, but people still get emotional about the epic Eventing of the last great heavyweight.
