Who is/was the greatest Gracie?

i shoulda made that last post into a three part mini series

what can i say i like the fight game i pretend im a gracie with partz o fedor and then i go walk the playgroundz eye ballin the youngsterz my shrink told me to help with my self esteem plus my shrink said as long as i dont cross a certain line it would actually be beneficially and make the youngsterz more aware of the strangerz in their environment

unfortunately i had to stop because i kept getting my head kicked in but for two yearz in a row when i stayed near the sandbox side of the school i waz undefeated

anywayz i dont like to brag but thatz how i got the greatest of the latineg'z title

 

as in LOOSE the Zz?

ok you know i been trying to do that i tiny bit lately, not in that post i dont think cuss i waz typiing to fast but i been doin it once in a blue moon mostly when i stop and notice it right there

BUT

im going to make a concerted effort to loose the Zz from here on out

now normally this would sound like i was mockin you but normally wouldnt be aware that i have never told someone i would loose the Zz before i usually dont even reply or i reply with bucketz of Zz to **** normally off cuss ive been doing it on so many forumz i actually evolved to enjoy and look forward to the Z battle's .

that said let me tell you the reason i begun the Zz in the first place waz because everyone kept screaming at me about my apostropiez that i put in supposed'ly the wrong place

so im just saying your going to need to let me know if it makez thing's better or worse

oh and dont forget that im quite dyslexical and type really really slow

and read really slow

remember im old and i used to fight and i did ok for a year or so and then i started to get my head kicked in but i wouldnt stop until i began to become aware that i would stare at wallz for ten minutez in a row and not remember it

best way to understand me is picture asking me what 22 plus 23 waz. a kid would either answer that question right or wrong but they would answer it in less than 10 secondz either way. so just picutre that i would answer that question right but it would take me 14 minute for you to get your answer from me

so i just come off a little different then most because im smart if you dont mind waiting 10 minutes for me to think of one answer but im a complete moron if you have a stop watch. better off to get a freakin talkin ****** anywayz this is a FIGHT forum god dam it

however i feel that what ur telling me is that the Zz actually made it DIFFICULT to read to the POINT whereby u could barely understand it and then had to figure it out and then it just broke the flow and therefore u freely shared that info with me and for that reason i will attempt it to honour the exchange of ur information

yes so in closing roger gracie as the best currently or greatest whatever and royce for the GREATEST ever and roger to beat royce but thatz not really fair and with a extreme bias against the older dudez that could of been even greater but came before the time where it waz way harder to verify exact fact from them gull darn fiction's that we alway's be hearin

 

To those who said Royce, he was actually one of the lesser members of the family as far as grappling goes. The only reason he was placed into the UFC rather than any of the others was that he was basically the runt of the litter, and the entire point of BJJ was to show that technique would prevail above all.

Rickson is largely based on legend, but I've no doubt he was an amazing grappler in his own right, even if mostly due to word of mouth. I can't say he's better than Roger, though. How can you? Roger is basically the best to have ever competed in competition, gi or no gi. The only guys I could see capable of beating him would have to do so on points, via takedown and positioning. Someone like Arona in his Abu Dhabi days. As far as technique goes, though, he's pretty much unbeatable.

 

Where does Carley Gracie rate?

 

Rickson gets my vote.
people hate on the man cause they dont buy into his "hype" but that hype exists for a reason. roger would undoubtedly flog him today though.
There is footage around of rickson repeatedly tapping out royler (about to become a seemingly invincible world champion) in under two minutes each time.. thats always blown me away..
despite the fact they are brothers and have trained together for years you would think royler could hold out for longer than TWO minutes.

 

Flog. :rofl Superb. I would love to see them grapple.

I always go with Rickson. He was an amazing physical specimen and reigned undefeated in the birthplace of MMA or more correctly it's no-holds barred roots.

Though I would be remiss in not saying that Relson probably possesses the most technically advanced mind of the Gracies. His knowledge is voluminous and ever evolving.

alot of the youngin's probably arent aware that great great great grandaddy RICKSHAW GRACIE was from china

of course 6 generation's later it had evolved into rickson and of course was honoured with this namesake

yeah facinating life story those gracie's turns out that the rickshaw driver's would fight each other over the fares

anyways ancient rickshaw gracie got known for getting every fare he ever fought for even the ones that took him 30 minutes to choke the other driver out
