With people saying Pac-man is the Michael Jordan, Elvis, and Ail all in one for Filipinos. It made me think how is/was the most popular boxer in their homeland.

England- Prince Naseem, Ricky Hatton, Frank Bruno, or Amir Khan

America- Oscar, Ail, Mike Tyson, SRL or SRR

    Philippines- Pac-man

    Mexico- Chavez

    Indonesia- Chris John

    Japon- Fighting Harada

    Thailand-Khaosai Galaxy

    Brazil-Popo, Eder Jofre

    Denmark-Kessler

    Puerto Rico-Trinadad

    Germany-AA

My guess would be for Pac-man, Hatton or Chavez.

From a UK point of view Naz was a draw but only because there that many people who wanted to see him get knocked out.

The most popular now is Hatton. I still think Bruno has the edge overall.

Just listen to the crowd when the result in announced in this video approx 3.20.

Andrew for sure , but adamek? not rly , the sad truth is that 60%-70 of average poles has no idea who he is , cuz only one private channel cares about him and he fights in the night so only hardcore fans re watching it , he is more popular in the polisch community in the states then in poland itself I bet that far more ppl knows who Włodarczyk is , cuz he was in Dancing with the Stars

Grannies in England still have dogs called Bruno.

And Tyson actually... but not Eubank. That would be a rubbish name for a dog!
