I think Gonzaga ruined his confidence. CC never recovered from that KO.

Cro-Cop couldn't pull the trigger. Even in his last fight, he was off. It's age...it gets everyone. If you are a striker, it can get you faster then a BJJ. But in the end Father Time Beats eveyone.

  4. it lasted longer than i thought it would. i kinda expected cro cop to fight the way he did, but i'm very surprized at mir's tactics.
i don't understand cro cop, his big weapon is his kicks yet in the ufc he's reluctant to use them.
people go on about how he hasn't adapted to ufc, and thats why. he doesn't fight the way he used to, in the way that won him all those great knockouts. maybe he simply can't execute them anymore, what other reason could there be?

he's my favourite fighter, but i felt embarrassed watching that fight.

That was a depressing fight. Washed up can't pull the trigger just there for a payday no desire whatsoever Crocop gets knocked out again.

Mir wasn't even happy with the victory because he knows how empty it was.

Crocop even looks old. His body looks middle-aged and weakened compared to his old self. He has no fire. He just wants the fight to end and to get paid. He has a kid and apparently his wife is pregnant. He has no reason to be there except money.

Probably, but Mir was right there to get leg kicked all night and he didn't do much of anything. When he finally did decide to get aggressive, he walks into a knee amateurishly. Bad fight...

  8. the ufc haters will have a field day with these two headlining fights.

I think once the roids was out of Mirkos system, hes a different fighter. I hate to say that but everyone in Pride was on gear and that was fair play in that environment.

He was pretty gunshy against Hunt in PRIDE though. I think it's a confidence thing with him. He didn't look like he believed in himself at all.

I think my fascination with ex PRIDE fighters is over bar Shogun. Most of those guys are shot now.

I tend to believe this also. He had a muscular completeness and size that we haven't seen since he left pride. Part of it is roids. Part of it is age. Part of it is lack of desire. Family etc. He's 36. You don't have the same mentality as a 36 year old family man as you did when you were younger and wanted to conquer the world.

C'mon. Really? Chuck got Koed in and out koed pride by Jackson. CC age is getting to him. He has had like 70 pro fights!! It will get Brock, Fedor, GSP, Silva, and all the other fighters out there.

CC weighed less in Pride than he did tonight.
