I rank Byrd's resume over Vitali personally, but I wouldn't put him over Wlad. Wlad has more good wins and then you have the whole problem of Wlad beating Byrd twice.

Byrd's resume probably would have even been better but he had alot of fights fall through over Don King and other politics. At various points he tried and failed to get fights with Ruiz, Jones Jr, Rahman, Vitali rematch, Lewis, Tyson, and Toney. He would be an obvious underdog in some of these but I think most of these would have been winnable and they would have been good names to add.

 

Not so sad a best win then.
