Joe Frazier. Epitomised everything I love and value in a fighter. He was a down to earth genuine human too.

I posted photos on here from the meetings. Benitez had a recent health scare but is steady. Gomez has lost a lot of weight but is often having little health scares here and there.

    Ali for me.

My dad boxed when he was in the army and loved Ali and Pelé. I grew up loving Ali and Pelé - about 2 years before I joined this forum, I went through an extensive Ali study and couldn't reconcile the fighter described by historians such as Monte Cox, with the fighter that I had analysed.

Of course, remarkably gifted reflex wise and of course, human and made mistakes in the ring. He did, however, demonstrate an incredible blend of speed, reflex, fundamentals, unorthodoxy and of course, a self-promoting mouth and ring IQ that birthed a generations of imposters.
