    I must say he has let me down in a few fights, but to call a former undisputed champion an underachiever sounds kinda silly. The isn't really a higher honor for a boxer.

    lacy, and jt also are from the 2000 class, and the guy cotto koed in the pros but lost to in the olymics. i forgot his name. muhammed abdulev or something like that.

    So how is that underachieving ?
    I just said i saw Douglas fight in the eighties and he was a contender in a hardly flush division. He ended up knocking out one of the most feared fighters of all time in one of the biggest upsets ever and became a household name, before getting spanked by Holyfield. Not exactly underachieving is it ?

    People there is a difference between underachieving and not reaching the expectations of critics.

    He wasn't getting battered in that fight it was close maybe even before he quit against Tucker, Douglas wasn't a great but he was a very good fighter who had poor dedication, but he really got up to fight Tyson, after Tyson he reverted to his lazy self against Holyfield.

    Mundine - multiple champion without fighting a live body.

    Plenty of talent but cares nothing about fans or a legacy - coin and no risk is the only thing that gets him actually fighting.
