I think Torres-Holt 2 takes the cake for round of the year.

    FOTY--you are correct sir.

granted vitali has been inactive, but peter wasnt reguarded as a real "nightmare" in the current worst HW division ever.

vic was KTFO by nonito in 07 and in most cases would never be the same.
he had a C-O-N-T-R-O-V-E-R-C-I-A-L draw in 08 (which imo vic won) against Z in the philippines. -it was a bad decision not to mention the **** going on like water bottles being thrown in the ring he had to overcome.
vic then moved up in weight and KO'd dimitri in dramatic fashion..
then moved on to KO mijares who was a current top 10 p4p fighter.

vic = comeback fighter of the year hands down :bbb

Round of the year is usually a good two-way action round rather than a one-sided ass kicking like Marquez-Vazquez III round 12.

Holt-Torres II round 1 will most likely be round of the year.

that's a good pt reagarding vazquez-marquez...probably have to rethink that but it was my favorite...clutch hitting at it's best

So u think Vitali is a lock for Comeback of the Year

Upset almost HAS to be Hopkins over Pavlik. Vic over Mijares was up there though.

I think Vic was an even bigger underdog and given less than a chance to win than B-Hop.

He beat two ancient former legends and frankly the Bhop who fought Pavlik would have beaten Calzaghe. Plus Calzaghe was a clear favourite for both fights anyhow.

I would go with Joe C. or JMM. Marquez has a better body of work this year and Pac and took a chance in fight Casa, while Pac took the safe rout and fought Diaz. Joe C. fought and beat two Hall of Famers. Calzaghe's lofty status was heightened by Hopkins whipping Pavlik. With all this being said, I'd never let this white boy beat me.
