Pavlik wasn't just "hyped". He was knocking everyone out.

Pacquiao of course, anyone picking Calzaghe must be drunk or from Wales.

This is a rilly tough one for me. Hopkins, Margo, and Pac all looked spectacular in fights this year:

    1) Hopins @ 43 gives a 26 year old Pavlik a boxing lesson.

2)Pac moves up to 135 to KO a David Diaz that handled Erik Morles quite decently.

    3)Margaritto TKO's Cotto in the 11th.

I gotta go with Margo. I wasn't there for Hopkins/Pavlik but was present for the Pac/Diaz and Margo/Cotto fights. I must admit, I didn't feel the Pac fight like I felt the Margo fight. That was somethin' special. Everybody went ape**** over that one.

Theres an argument for margarito and obviously in pacquaio wins its gotta be him but people are really showing their inane hatred of joe calzaghe here. the biggest fools are the ones picking hopkins then ridiculing anyone saying calzaghe, who beat him. its a joke.
if pacquaio wins it has to be him if not then i'd say calzaghe just over margarito

    Margarito

Clear-cut stoppage victories over Cintron and Cotto. Pretty good year.

margarito- two dominant wins over two top contenders and belt holders (one a p4p top ten) in the deepest division in boxing.
for those saying calzaghe-come on a W which should be a L against a faded 43 year old hopkins and a win over a shot to **** roy jones who'd been dominated before doth not fighter of the year material make
