Nomas easy. Heck I’d had Rigo p4p 1 based on skills alone. Let’s be real, Loma would school GGG and Spence if size weren’t an issue. I also don’t think Crawford could beat Rigo p4p, just watch their movements na show they dealt with opponents. Crawford has issues with gamboa.
1. Loma - Obvious, probably the best boxer ever talentwise. Still only 29 with 11 fights and has the best resume in boxing arguably 2. GGG - Underrated defense, won every fight and got robbed vs Canelo, his resume is underrated as well. 3. Crawford - Unified champ, doesn't impress me too much in his fights though, had massive problems with Gamboa, beat an average Indongo who got a fluke ko vs Troya, beat Postol who is overrated himself. Still being unified is not a small feat, I think he is overrated though. 4. Kovalev - Yeah really I put him here, he got robbed vs Ward in their first fight and the 2nd fight was a complete and utter disgrace, so I just rate him as if he won the first fight and the 2nd fight didn't happen. 5. Canelo - Amazing resume, lost 3 fights imo, Lara, GGG and Mayweather. 6. Garcia - Great basics and some good wins, want to see him fight Loma next 7. Thurman - I like Thurman, he is really good overall, great footwork, power, defensively decent and variety. 8. Inoue - Looks insane fighting against midgets though 9. Usyk - Fantastic - Hard to judge him correctly as of yet, however he has 2 amazing wins on his resume vs Glowa and Huck, we will see how good he really is vs Breidis 10. Spence/ Jacobs - Really hard to seperate them - Spence is a great talent though I think he got lucky that Brook has glass eye sockets as he would have probably lose the fight if not for that, I only see him improving though, Jacobs is one of my favourite fighters since his fight vs GGG, I thought he would be easy work for GGG but he displayed speed, footwork, punch variety, ring IQ even though he was a fullblown cruiserweight in there.
Would GGG struggle with a Salido in his 2nd pro bout, not likely. That loss matters, there is chinks in Loma's armour.
Give him a rest, it was his 2nd ever pro fight, when he always fought clean in amateurs, 4 rounds most of the time.
He never adapted. When he faces another tough, durable come forward guy who he dosn't phase than we can calling him great. Who's he beat, that's like Salido, since Salido?
Bradley looked P4P top 5 before he ran into Provo. Till Loma faces that type of aggressive, tough as hell, dirty type of fighter again I can't rate him higher yet.
Gennady/Crawford - 1A/1B. The unification of the weight class is more impressive than anybody else. That is a major accomplishment, it's not his fault the Div wasn't strong.
Loma vs Provo at 140lbs is not a foregone conclusion, don't kid yourself. Lucus vs Loma at 140lbs, would Loma get inside Indongo?
