I just realised how little I know about Minimum weight which is no surprise I don’t know anything about boxing. Ricardo Lopez is my favourite but I’m unfamiliar with many of those guys.

My favorites not in orders : Wanheng Meenayothin (Chayaphon Moonsri), Eagle Den Junlaphan, Thammanoon Niyomtrong, Oleydong Sithsamerchai, Kosei Tanaka, Kazuto Ioka, Ivan Calderon, Hiroto Kyoguchi, Ricardo Lopez, Ginjiro Shigeoka.

The best minimumweight for me this is the top 5 :

    1- Ricardo Lopez

    2- Thammanoon Niyomtrong

    3- Wanheng Meenayothin

    4- Katsunari Takayama

5- Ivan Calderon = Oleydong Sithsamerchai

Well some of the lists was better and they was in their primes in others divisions for example Roman Gonzalez & Kazuto Ioka was in the top of their career in Flyweight or Super Flyweight, same for Kosei Tanaka, Hiroto Kyoguchi was clearly in his prime in Light Flyweight.

Ricardo Lopez undoubtedly has the best record at Minimumweight.

My darling prince Kazuto Ioka will always hold a special place in my heart. An immensely talented and accomplished fighter never given the acclaim and recognition he deserves.
Chocolatito Gonzalez was ferocious at 105. He could apply enough pressure to turn concrete into rubble and, my God, those blistering combinations are some of the most beautiful things you'll ever see in the sport of boxing.
I still haven't given up hope on Ginjiro Shigeoka either. I still think there's something special about that kid and I think he'll avenge his loss to Taduran and go on to do great things in the sport.

    Calderon without doubt.

    That Segura rematch still hurts.
