Gil Clancy and Tim Ryan are far and away my favorite announcing team. No other team comes even remotely close for me

Agree100% ,, to me they are the yardstick to which all announcing teams are measured.

I really like the HBO team comprised of Barry Tompkins, Sugar Ray Leonard and Larry Merchant.
I also like Steve Albert's voice and Roy Jones' insightful commentary.

No real stand out favorites for me now that I think about it. I enjoy almost all boxing commentary from the classic guys like Dunphy right up to the HBO/Showtime days.

Be faster to name the few I don't care to listen to such as Bunce. Most commentators now tend to be very poor, it feels as if they're trying to sell you on something, whether it be a upcoming mega-fight or some random prospects unbelievable potential... I don't like feeling like some guinea pig for advertisement.
