i gotta go with my number 1 as being sultan ibragimov. this guy just seems like a pretty cool motha****er. plus i went and saw him beat briggs down at boardwalk hall in AC and afterwards when everyone rushed out of the building after the decision i walked down to the very bottom and i got to shake his hand as he was walking back to the lockerroom area or wherever. that was pretty awesome. plus he comes to fight everytime and he had balls to change from fighting for an easy pay day " holyfield " and put his money where his mouth is by making a unification fight with chagaev.

my number 2 is oleg maskaev. this is based on watching him beat hasim rahman who everyone said he was overmatched against. he won completely on pure heart and determination and thats why i think hes such a great fighter. like ibragimov he comes to fight and has guts.

    Samuel Peter.

Ever since I heard him singing at the end of Toney/Peter II.

Chag. No one is going to sing this guy's prasies, because he's small and doesn't seem to have power against much bigger opponents. But he's a southpaw, solid amatuer skills, throws a lot, iron chin, and has a little pop.

Reminds you of Holyfield or Ray Mercer, and like those two, he's going to be around a long time and win a lot of fights people bet against him on.

I am coming around on Sultan. It pissed me off when his big mouth manager said that there was no need to fight Austin again, but that's not really his fault. Winning the title and signing to unify takes balls. I just don't want to see anymore crappy fights like the Austin debaucle. He had his learning experience, and now he has to come in in shape every time.

I still like Lamon. Thanks for the memories.

To be honest, there are more guys that I like than dislike. I can think of something good to say about Chag, Sultan, Wlad, Vitaly, Peter, Lamon, Sergai, Evander, Mccall, Maskaev, Povetkin, Haye, Solis. I hope Tua and Dimentrenko get there **** together, Morroer and Rahmen should be interesting trialhorses, and the best part:

RUIZ, BYRD, AND BRIGGS ARE FINALLY GONE!!! Well, as contenders in any event.

I am excited about this division.

    samuel peter.

he is such a legend. when he koed sykes who was a decent heavy,i got interested

he then fights wlad who at the time was th best thing since slice bread and looked like all the weak chin claims were fake and it was only stamina problems that lead to the other koes and lucky shots....then peter drops him down 3 times and was a class act.he knew he couldnt stop wlad jab and grab all night long. so he just fought a fight and looked the better off.

then koes julius long with an overhand right that looked like a tapped and the toney fights were just a big learning curb.
he is growing in skills he was a pure puncher before but now he is a good boxer puncher. great jab ,no stamina problems, rock hard chin, awsome power and a funnt guy.
