Who is your favorite fighter out of these four fighters?

Tyson. Most re-watchable. With very few exceptions I don't like or dislike fighters based on personality.

 

I watched Evander in the Olympics, and told the people around me, "That kid will be the heavyweight champion one day."

 

Tyson easily.

 

Lennox. Part of it is a bit of Brit flag waving,but I've always liked the way that he conducts himself.

 

Evander. The last great active championship distance fighter. Went further than anybody expected him to go. Still not finished. (Probably a lock for dementia or neurologically induced motor impairment at this stage, so what difference does it make if he continues now?)

 

Evander because he would beat anyone one of them in his prime. He feared no one and was a very hard worker.

 

Lennox Lewis by far.

 

Tyson

 

Mike Tyson.

He embodied what everyone wanted their heavyweight champion to be.

When he was on top:

-He fought often
-He beat everyone decisively and usually in brutal fashion.
-His talent was such that even non-boxing fans could appreciate
-His fights are the most re-watchable.
-He has the most crowd pleasing style of all of them.
-He was an exciting and dynamic figure.

-He was easily the last great Heavyweight Champion that fit the mold of Golden Era Heavyweights; he was dominant, popular and all business when he stepped in the ring.

Lewis had longevity but his relevance as "the man" is from 1999-2003. Tyson's was 1986-1990 and IMO was a better reign.

Holyfield typically fought up and down to his level of competition. He had exciting fights but he was hot and cold. He's undoubtedly great but as champion I prefer Tyson because there was a time where I as well as many others actually believed that Mike Tyson was unequivocally "the baddest man on the planet."

Lewis, Wlad, Vitaly, Evander, Riddick, Michael and Old George never received that accolade. Not even close.

As for Vitaly and Wlad; I prefer Wlad but I think that as champions they simply fail to excite. Sure they get the KO's and they are still winning one sided fights but they simply lack the X factor which Tyson had in spades.

 

Evander because he's the one that's most likely going to go to war against any random opponent (ie. his first pro fight was a war, Cooper was an unexpected brawl, etc.)

 

Lennox Lewis. Seems like a genuinely nice person and he carried himself well. Great technician in the ring.

 

To elaborate, Lewis had class and dignity, especially when contrasted to Tyson and Bowe (a real buffoon) and of course he was THE premier heavyweight champ since mid 60's Ali.
