Man this was a hard bunch to pick from, but I'll pick Holy. He was the complete package. I do think the best version of Bowe, which was the one that got 2-3 vs. Holy, would of beaten Lewis. I know, I know Lewis beat Bowe in the amatuers, he knocked him out and Bowe did duck him, but Bowe wasn't the type to run from anyone and if Lewis would directly confront Bowe in public I think Bowe because of his pride might of accepted. I just think the Lewis that lost of McCall loses to Bowe. Even if all these 4 fought in the same era, it wouldn't prove anything because Tyson was his best with D'Amato, in the 80's, Bowe and Holy in the mid 90's, and Lewis alittle later than that. They were all great.
It's not a who's greater or better list is it? Just who is your favourite. And in that case it's Tyson for me no ****in issue what so ever. Lewis is the best of them though. Holyfield at Cruiser contests that though.
Lennox Tyson Holyfield Bowe Lennox was the best after the void that Tyson left when he trew his career away, and stayed the best for the rest of his career. I can't imagine anyone chosing Bowe after blatantly ducking Lewis.
I have the most respect for Holy achievement-wise but I can't deny that Iron Mike is my favorite among them.
Lewis was the most talented of the four, but Holyfield was my favorite. If Lewis had Holyfields toughness and commitment, he might've been "THE" GOAT. But he didn't and those things count. So it's still Louis.
He beat Bowe in the amateurs, Holyfield was old and faded (and still came close to winning in their secondd fight), Tyson was a shot fat methead.
He's definitely not the best but Tyson was ****in sweet in his day. None of the others were as exciting and nobody else held the attention of the world like Tyson did.
