Andre Dirrell was my favorite, but he has retired, so now it is Anthony Dirrell............... Jacobs Stevenson Charlo Mayweather Judah Rigondeaux and so many others
My favorite fighter of all time is Super Joe Calzaghe who is arguably the greatest fighter of all time from a pound for pound head to head perspective. My favorite active fighter is The Special One Kell Brook who is arguably the greatest active fighter from a pound for pound head to head perspective.
JMM, kovalev, Hopkins. All time it has to be Duran. He was the ****. All time from the UK is Ken Buchanan. Tough as nails master boxer who fought everywhere.
Im bout like you Farmy......I appreciate the hard work and dedeication that European fighters bring to the table. Happily though, as an American, I find that several young American fighters are beginning to get the picture.... One Time Thurman, Danny Garcia, Bryant Jennings, Malik Scott, Daniel Martz, Mikey Garcia. But yeah, if I had to list 5..... GGG Kovalev Wlad Pac Jennings Mostly non American:-(

atsch You just summed it up nicely you see Hopkins, Jones, Ward's names in ATG lists and forget that Hopkins - is a Calzaghe victim, Jones is a Calzaghe victim and Ward whos best win is a faded Calzaghe victim who Calzaghe beat when undefeated and prime. In fact when you look at Wards top 5 wins, 2 are faded fighters that Calzaghe beat when they were prime and he was at the end of his career

LOL! Why are YOU bringing up RACE? I never did. You must be taking offence at my label "Slappy White", right. FYI, Slappy White was the name of the BLACk actor on The Stanfords, Redd Foxx's show. He was a black comedian with nothing in common with Joe Calzaghe, except his name perfectly describes Calzage's punching/slapping style. LOL, you hyper-sensitive. Calm down and develop a skin. Also, white isn't a color. It's technicallly the ABSENCE of color. Joe is not White. He has color that is closer to PINK.
Holyfield was my favorite back in the day. I know his reputation is tarnished over drugs and personal issues but I like his fighting style. Not exactly slick nor a limited slugger but somewhere in between. Joe Calzaghe is my other favorite. Always up for a tear up if the other guy wanted to go there and his fight against Kessler was a great and memorable performance for me. Right now ●Thurman because I think he's a good guy with an interesting style. ●Rigondaux for his precision punches and I love the way he throws that overhand left. ●Steve Cunningham because he has massive heart, with some skill, and is always in good fights. ●Logan McGinnis, Kevin Bizier, Jean, David Lemuix. Gotta support my countrymen. ●James Kirkland is very limited but can't help but cheer for him. ●Orlando Salido because he has a unique stance and style, tough and gritty and he is the first guy that comes to mind when I hear the word prize fighter. ●Andre Berto (yeah I know) after he lost the title and the hyperbole died down I started to not mind him anymore. He has major flaws but he battles through adversity and has some good offense just can't help himself by constantly getting into wars. ●Paulie because I enjoy watching a light puncher operate and be successful at the top of the sport. Fighters that I'm starting to notice. ●Shumenov ●Provodnikov ●Jennings ●Huck. Never cared for his bar room brawling style but he's improved in my opinion. ●Cesar Seda. He impressed me even in defeat against Santa Cruz. Maybe a little undersized for the division or LSC is a beast. ●Andy Ruiz Pretty much guys that aren't necessarily the best but are grinders. Fighters I don't really care for anymore or just can't be bothered with anymore. ●Zab Judah. I always backed this guy but after his "fight" with Paulie I'm done. He should have just stayed on his stool after the 6th round or so. ●Ousthuzian. He doesn't seem to care lately so why should I.
