    George Benton isn't a great strategist. He told Meldrick Taylor he needed to witn the 12th round in Taylor v Chavez I, when Taylor was clearly leading by at least 2 rounds. Manny is my favorite trainer, with Nazim a close second.

    I was going to mention him, is he still active? He had a lot to do with Leo Spinks wining title, and could not help in rematch with Ali due to Spinks developing coke snorting entourage and not training. Benton developed Meldrick Taylor and many other Duva fighters in 1980's.
