Good to see the love for big Frank. Haye, Mitchell & Khan and far too many to mention as current fighters. George Groves is going to be a big big star and Hayes got him moving in all the right circles at the moment. Lloyd Honeyghan got me into boxing. Funnily enough I watched the Curry fight last nght and Curry just didn't know how to handle him. He just quit using a cut as the excuse. Both were 25-0 and Honeyghan was Currys mandatory. Unbelievable. I think this thread was aimed more at non-Brits but what the hell.
Favorite ever who I watched? Nigel Benn. I thought he was very good. Quick hands, yet he would neglect defense and get hit clean at times.
1.matthew macklin he has irish blood in him and is a great fighter 2.jamie moore animal 3.david haye great for the heavyweights im not saying hes a saviour but he makes the division exciting
Haye and Khan are equal right now, but that should change in the next year. One fighter will hopefully prove himself against the elite dogs. and by Elite dogs I'm not talking about Zab Judah.......................sorry chickendancers
khan, so quick, and a huge amount of potential. Also very admirable how a yr ago his career was in the **** and a yr later hes left the luxury life in the uk to train with the best in the wildcard gym. Shows how determined he is, and wat a great turn around in his career. Like haye too, very entertaining. Froch im not really a fan of but admire his toe to toe fighting
