Bowe/Golota II: Even though he was getting the **** beat out of him every round and would have been stopped if not for Golota imploding, he finally showed the heart he was missing the rest of his career. Lewis/Briggs: My favorite one-sided fight. This fight just represents what a beast Lennox was. The last legitimate knockdown, not the one that stopped the fight, but the one before it; Briggs is on ***** street but throws two punches. Lennox just barely moves his head, hands at his side, smiles at Briggs, and throws his right putting Briggs back on the floor. Good stuff. Lennox's overhand right is my all-time favorite punch.
Tito Trinidad because he was incredible and practically unbeatable at his peak....he was electrifying, exciting, legendary power and never took a step back!!!! and of course because he would always represent for Puerto Rico!! Que Viva Puerto Rico!!!! My second favorite is Erik Morales for many of the same reasons I mentioned above and his technique was close to perfect at his peak he was awesome. I have enjoyed some of his recent success and he deserved the nod against Maidana!!
sugar ray leonard - just the complete package - speed, skill, adaptability, could fight in adversity, outstanding combination puncher.
:dealCan't add much to that. When it really mattered,he always found a way.Barrera meant a lot to me too.I know people will disagree and debate how great he was,but you can have a favourite fighter and still acknowledge there are many better.Just loved watching and following the guy.
This content is protected He was, early on, everything we need in boxing today. A sharp, powerful, explosive fighter that the media couldn't get enough of and who was steamrolling the division.
Wladimir Klitschko. For many reasons, but most importantly because of the tremendous courage and determination he showed in coming back to become the universally recognized heavyweight champion after everybody thought he was finished in 2004. Also because he's a man of strong personal character, a decent guy who treats other people well and does a lot of charitable work throught the Klitschko Foundation.
barrera has been a truely great fighter imo and i know what you mean. on a much lower level katsidis is one of my favourite fighters, even though he's no great, he is pure entertainment, brings it to every fight and goes hell for leather, i love watching katsidis fight.
