There's many debates about the current Heavies, both amongst fans and between fighters themselves.

What comes up alot is how popular fighters are in their own, and in other countries. I know that there are members here from all over the place; So i'm wondering, who is your favourite active heavyweight? Purely based on how much you like them, disregarding achievements.

Would be interested to see how this goes - I'm quite new to the Forum, so I don't know if this has already been a thread? I apologise in advance if so!

Povetkin, I love his style and his fights. It's a pity he lost his best years and the title shot against Wilder because of a positive test and he came against Joshua at 39.

Hrgovic, at least until Usyk makes it into the ranks.

    From that list Joshua

I was hoping to include Usyk and Hrgovic (plus many others) in the poll but I discovered I could only include a certain amount of options  Thanks for voting!

The king awaiting his crown - ADAM KOWNACKI

I used to hate Wilder but he's my number 2. Signed to fight Pov in Russia, fought Ortiz when no one wanted to go near him and then agreed to fight Fury twice. He really isn't that good in all honesty but he's fun to watch as well.

Aj for me but also a big fury fan and for all the bantz I throw wilders way I never miss his fights he's very entertaining. And I've always liked Joseph Parker too. But Aj is the man.

    Voted for Fury.

My favourite is actually Parker, but I don't like the way he seems to have settled into a groove lately, and feel frustrated at his continued insistence on staying with his useless team.

Fury is frustrating, but he's easily the most skilled HW out there (barring Usyk once he settles in at the weight), and doesn't care how many feathers he ruffles. He's a modern day Ali figure, however strained or ludicrous that comparison may seem, and he makes this division worth watching.

Joshua for me. I'm a Brit so am a little bit biased. I have a love hate relationship with Fury. He's becoming even more full of shat than Wilder lately which takes some doing. Whyte is nearly always entertaining, whether that be in fights or interviews.

Povetkin is good to watch though past his best now. Unfortunately my opinion of the likes of Wilder and Ortiz has been tainted by their fan base. It's been done to death about the '50 million'.........offer, which AJ would never be able to take as it didn't include Sky being the main broadcaster.....quell surprise, and the massive overrating of Ortiz by a glut of Wilder fans to justify why Wilder struggled to overcome a heavily medicated, well past it, cherry pick.

Other than that, I get much fun and enjoyment from watching pretty much all heavyweights. Hell, even Hughie has the capacity to entertain on occasion.

Honestly, Jarrell Miller or Luis Ortiz, who I liked and did threads on years ago, then Wilder third. I like Fury personally, but most of his matches are dull as hell, but if he has guys that can push him like Wilder, he can be thrilling. So there, that's my neck and neck Top 4. Don't care for the rest.

Although I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of King Usyk to ascend to to his throne.

Don't really have a favorite, but I think Fury is the cream of the crop in the division.
I like Miller as well. Least favorite is neck and neck between Breazale and Whyte

I like most of them to be honest. Some great and diverse characters that the division desperately needed. The heavyweight division is great right now, with plenty of exciting prospects coming through as well. Whoever comes out on top will be a worthy champion. If I had to pick one it would be Joshua. I just hope the big fights get made after all this ****ing around.

I’m a big AJ fan and have been since I saw him live as an amateur.

I like watching pressure fighters that throw a lot of punches and can take a punch also so right now I’m enjoying watching Joe Joyce fight
