I have Carlos Ortiz. Prime Ortiz would give Duran and Pea fits. An amazingly all round gifted fighter. I also choose kid Gavilan because he is dynamite to watch. The way he whips in his shots is fantastic to watch.
Elbows McFadden, Franke Erne, Billy Petrolle and the guys who fought Jack McAuliffe and were unlucky, Jimmy Carroll, Jem Carney.
I've honestly never heard of any of those guys. Just goes to show how much of a non historian I am. I love the classic though. I've learned a tone off you guys over the years. The guys I listed are probably not underrated to you. They are vastly underrated on the world forums on all boxing sites. I also shout out Freddie Steele. He would overwhelm GGG imo. With relative ease tbh.
elbows mcfadden. had a fascination with him for a while. cross arm defence (among other cross arm uses) a lifetime before the likes of archie moore.
