Agree, but voted for Dawson, because he's ready to solve this problem, unlike B-Hop.

    Vacant. Or Hopkins by default.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins. Since then Hopkins beat Pavlik who is middleweight champion, so I'm not sure how that has made him light heavy champion.

I'd have to say vacant, even though Erdei is officially its very difficult to go along with that.

I love Bernard. He's one of my favorite fighters. However, he is not the #1 Light Heavyweight in the world simply because he's not really an active fighter. He's seeking 1 more mega fight and then he's out. If he doesn't get that big money fight, which it doesn't look like he will, he's gonna be done. Meanwhile, the rest of the bunch..Dawson, Dianconu, Erdei fight a couple times a year.

The only way to establish the true #1 in this division is for a Hopkins vs Dawson match.

The public demand is growing (not enhanced by Dawson's so-so victory over a game, but over the hill Tarver), but it won't reach it's appex until Hopkins is either out of the game or his skills finally start to significantly regress.

If I had to pick, I'd say Dawson... but I think Chad should move up to Heavyweight and restore the division to glory. We need an American back at the top of the most prestigious division.

If Hopkins-Dawson isn't made, then what are the chances of a Dawson-Erdei or Hopkins-Erdei happening?

Vacant, but Chad Dawson is on his way but since Erdei is linear champ, he also holds a claim, Hopkins is the closest thing to a legitimate champion though, you see where this is going.

Dawson he is active and has challenged Hopkins. I also think he is the best fighter in the divison so im riding with Dawson.
