who isnt convinced by james degale's skill?

He shows some good skills, but you have to remember the level of his opposition - he's just fighting at British level right now. He's an Olympic Gold medalist - you'd expect him to be outclassing these guys.

He cuffs a lot with his punches and he seems to lack power, even at this level. Power isn't essential but if you're going to be stepping up to World level then sometimes it doesn't matter how good your skills are, if you don't have enough pop to discourage someone then your fights become a lot harder.

David Haye apparently.

 

He's good but I was more impressed with Andre Ward against Abraham.

Ward is the type of fighter DeGale could become. I'd like to see those two fight in a year or so.

 

I think Haye's probably very convinced by Degale's skills, that's why Booth has put a voodoo on him for the Groves fight

There is a thread on the general about what group of people hype their fighters up the most , most people on there are saying brits. I was going to reply as i think we are some of the most knowledgeable realistic boxing fans going.....
