What it says on the tin.
Of all the great pugilists from time immemorial which boxer, in your opinion fills the bill as the most complete fighter/boxer of all time?
None were perfect or unbeatable, but which one ticks the most boxes for such attributes as:
    Defensive skill
    Offensive ability
    Hand speed
    Footspeed
    Power[Two handed]
    Jab
    Variety of punches
    Poise
    Durability
    Accuracy
    Balance
    Determination
    Courage
    Will To Win
    Etc

Is there a better choice than Ray Robinson ?
    Who do you choose?

    Hagler's a great pick

The one area where I think Robinson has a clear edge on him is the top-notch ONE-PUNCH KO power.
And I'm not saying Hagler wasn't a pretty huge puncher himself.

Yes Robinson had more power, but that doesn't make anyone a complete fighter. Hagler had a better defense too. The last thing Hagler would worry about against any opponent would be power.

After Robinson I would say Ezzard Charles fits all criteria.

I would pick Robinson. But, I agree that Hagler, Duran, and Charles are all great picks. SRL, and a young JCC senior were often pretty close to perfect fighting machines.

i've thought about it for a few minutes and no one matches up when you break it down like that. hagler, floyd, charles and ali would be very high in the list.
