Pac landed only 2 shots that buzzed Floyd as well (rounds 4 and 6)... Couldn't land in the follow up flurries which gassed him out and completely conceded the following rounds wide.

He made clean contact with his cheekbone a few times. But Cotto did more than Pac did in that regard.

 

Cotto kept Floyd on the ropes for a good bit with his connects.

Contrarily, Maidana kept Floyd on the ropes in their first fight not with his connects but with his volume, pressure, and chin.

Pacquiao and Mayweather were always standing or moving to where Mayweather wanted them to be in the ring. Only two shots he buzzed him with were the only two times Floyd went to the ropes. Any other time Pac landed clean or partially, Floyd was perfectly fine and still exactly where he wanted to be in the ring and with body positioning.
