on Larry Holmes. Tyson,Snipes or Shavers. That right landed by Snipes doesn't get talked about much but if the ropes were not there Holmes would of fallen out of the ring

The only difference between the punch that Oliver McCall hit Lennox Lewis with in their first fight ... and the shot that Renaldo Snipes hit Larry Holmes with ...

Was Lewis got up and stumbled forward into the ref ... whereas Holmes got up and literally fell face first into the corner post (which the camera missed most of).

Without the corner post there, Holmes would've gone down twice from one punch, which probably would've ended the fight.

Where Larry fell basically saved him.

Anyway, immediately after the fight, Holmes said Shavers was a harder puncher, but Mike Tyson was a "sharper" puncher.

Regardless, the right hand Tyson landed was a monster. And Tyson was a much better finisher than Earnie against Holmes, as Earnie missed Holmes by "feet" (not inches) trying to land a haymaker after that.

If you hit hard but can't finish a guy, it doesn't really matter.
