Who left the better legacy. Jerry Quarry or Tim Witherspoon?

    Anyway, Tim Witherspoon was better. I don't give a **** about the public opinion of these fighters. IMO, Witherspoon was better.

    Yes, Quarry fought Ali x2, Frazier x2, and Norton... but he also got the crap beat out of him by all 3... 5 fights, 5 KO losses.

    On the other hand... Witherspoon lost a close and even questionable decision to a prime Larry Holmes very early in his career. He easily outboxed Bonecrusher Smith. He knocked the crap out of Frank Bruno. Prior to the chaotic loss to Smith he was pretty damn good... he even did some good things past prime.

    I'm not so sure.

    WBA- Tate, Weaver, Dokes, Coetzee, Page, Tubbs, Witherspoon, Smith

    WBC- Witherspoon, Thomas

    IBF- Spinks, Tucker

    Who does Quarry beat? Yeah, I excluded Holmes and Tyson for obvious reasons.

    Some of these guys might have been beatable for Quarry, depending on exactly when he caught them.
