The problem is Poohvetkin couldn't put a dent in Hammer. Sasha is a cruiserweight. Poohvetkin gets manhandled vs the top Heavyweights. Why does Poohvetkin always lose to fighters taller than 6'3?

Povetkin wasn't bloodied up and didn't eat right hands all night long...lol

Ortiz may have won 8 rounds but he looked like a novice at times struggling to do so, with a puzzled look on his face as to why was his opponent fighting back and not going down.

Is this really a serious thread ? :watchout:

The reason Povetkin didn't eat right hands all night is because he isn't a southpaw.

Neither one looked great against Christian, he's become quite adept at spoiling his way through a match and making his opponents look like ****. Povetkin held way too much late, Ortiz didn't but ate too much leather. Yeah this is a serious thread, when both guys look like crap beating a guy everyone thought they'd blow away, it should be up for discussion as to who looked worse.

Its not a serious thread if one guy ( Ortiz ) is getting punched in the face every round with blood all over his face and out his mouth and the other didn't ( Povetkin )., and has the guy so afraid he doesn't throw punches at him which was also Povetkin having Hammer turtle up ,at no point in time did that fight do Ortiz a service for a title shot . lol

How about we change the thread title to who looked bad and who would you think would geta title shot after that fight ?

The reason why Povetkin didn't eat right hands is because he's far better at slipping shots and countering as well, you cant penalize someone just because its there style .Ortiz is open to that punch all night long which is mind boggling how people think or thought he had any chance vs Joshua . It actually took this fight to make them realize that, it just goes to show they don't know what they're watching and how far off they are ..

Povetkin who fought Joshua would defeat Ortiz. It is a better win then Wilders Ortiz win. Not just on difficulty of opponent but no controversy at all, point blank KO! End of story shut the lights out..

    Hammer 6'2½'' WUD12
    Price 6'8'' WKO5
    Joshua 6'6'' LTKO7

16 opponents 6'3'' or over and he's 14-2 (12 KOs) against them. He broke his hand in the 1st or 2nd round against one of those 14 victims of his who took him the distance and the other one was teak-tough and only stopped once in their career (Larry Donald) against a prime Vitali TKO10. And Wlad was allowed to get away with blue murder against Povetkin and he was 39 y/o when he fought AJ and in both those fights he was giving away a lot of weight, height and reach.

You're great at bluster and pretending like you're an authority aren't you? You nor I have a clue as to who would emerge victorious in a match between Povetkin and Ortiz based on their shared in ring debacles against Hammer, because neither man is Hammer, so they'll actually take their match against one another far more seriously and actually come into the ring with better game plans. Kind of like Ortiz came better prepared for Wilder and avoided his long straight right quite well, and Povetkin showed up far better prepared for AJ than he was for Price. You know, because boxers tend to prepare themselves better for better opponents. Its a pretty consistent pattern throughout boxing history.;)

Oh... you and your triangle theories Galvatron.

Fury far greater than both. knock down Hammer and made him quit on his stool..

The rightful WBC and Lineal Champ is a cut above both...

Povetkin clearly looked the better out of the two against Hammer who gave him no issues unlike Ortiz. Povetkin also has the vast superior resume to Ortiz.
