    Wilder was carrying him, he wanted to get more rounds in. If he had stepped it in from r1, he would have knocked Gavern out easily.

    Many times MVC is hard to agree with, but here I can't argue too much. Wilder treated Gavern like a tune up opponent who he wanted to go a few rounds with, and that's what he did.
