I thought Floyd came out and looked very handsome. Manny came out and also looked very handsome. Floyd's fluffy trimmings look weird too, but Manny's Pinoy flag colour scheme is limiting his ability to cross over to a more "now" look. That said Manny smiles more than Floyd does so maybe thats the edge.
Floyd looked better cause Shane didn't get intimidated. He was fighting till the last rd. Pac on the other hand didn't get the chance. Mosely practically ran the rest of the fight after rd3.
Mosley never respected Floyds power at all. That's why he never hesitated with Floyd, Pacman on the otherhand rocked him so bad that he opted for self preservation.
Mayweather looked better, in terms of more comfortable over the course, but in terms of hitting without getting hit, they both did a virtually identical job by the numbers. Technically, Pacquiao was less accurate, yet landed more and was hit less, and hurt less, but was more frustrated throughout. So, he didn't "look" as good. Uncomfortable looking despite thoroughly effective work.
If that shadow of Shane hurt Floyd, I totally understand why Floyd does not want to be in a boxing ring with Pacquiao for 12rds. Boxing is about confidence you can't win a big fight without believing in yourself. I don't know how any sane person can't see that Floyd himself does not think he can win the fight. He believes Manny is too good to even be real let alone step in the ring with. Actions speak louder than words. Floyd said enough. Manny's speed and Floyd's speed are both tops beyond that it would come down to power, will and experience. At WW Manny sweeps all of those.
