I think Cotto-Gomez cause I have been watching cotto improve with every fight...also upgraded from a slow hard puncher to a super fast hard puncher

I was gutted that Gatti lost, I have not watched the fight since it was on.

PBF-Gatti hands down it was an ATG performance. A demolition job, boxing clinic all in one. Not to mention people here and some in the media actually picked Gatti to win. No one here picked Gomez to win and although he beat the brakes off of Gomez it was expected.

I doubt it you'll will be hard pressed to find a better one-sided clinic than PBF-Gatti. Cotto couldn't have showcased himself in that fight like PBF did. I doubt we'd see Cotto hit Gatti with 6 and 7 punch combos like we all saw that night and not get hit.:deal

Does the PBF-Gatti fight somewhat get nullified though because of Floyd's comments regarding Gatti?

He says Gatti is the most overrated fighter.

Either way, it was a great performance. I saw that **** when I was in the middleast.

They were the same exact ****. 2 outclassed fighters getting owned by super star talent. The Cotto of right now against Gatti would have blasted him in under 5 rounds. 2ndly Gatti isn't even a fair case, he had SO much mileage from all the wars and **** and he was completely weight drained couldn't even make 140 anymore. Whats impressive about Cotto/Gomez and Floyd/Gatti was that they both were reality checks to the public which proved how good they respectively are.

Gatti was the perfect opponent for Floyd and he knew it. He is a stationary target and Floyd tee'd off on him all night. It's still an all-time great beatdown because of the magnitude of the fight (PPV, in Las Vegas, it was pretty much a superfight) and it was the fight that got Floyd the recognition as the pound for pound best. His combination punching was superb and he managed to go the whole fight without being hit really. Gomez is decent, but about 2 levels below Cotto.

I say the Cotto-Gomez. PBF just beat Gatti. Cotto beat the guy who just retires Gatti.

I couldn't agree more except that the fight wasn't in Vegas it was in Atlantic City.

Floyd vs Gatti. Both guys did exactly what they were supposed to do but Floyd looked like a god against Gatti. He was landing right hands 4 and 5 at a time Gatti looked like he was surrounded by 6 fighters all kicking his ass at the same time.
