Woah, tell us how you really feel.

Never knew Frazier had as much trouble with people and the law as you make it out. If true, it says a whole lot about those that talk about Ali being a "flawed" man or a terrible man because of his over the top trash-talking (While generally revering Frazier).

Still, I'd be lying if I said I didn't love Joe Frazier. Regardless...

Frazier didnt have to avoid Shavers, Foster, and Lyle because Quarry kicked the **** out of all of them in one sided fashion and then fought Frazier twice and got his ass handed to him on both occasions.

Frazier didnt have to avoid Martin because Martin got his ass handed to him by Ellis and Bonavena who Frazier beat twice each.

That greater and more accomplished fighter also got the dog **** kicked out of him by Frazier in their first fight, clinched an average of every ten seconds in their second fight to win an ugly, disputed, and debateable decision, and fought even up, life and death in the third. your argument is pretty weak.

Pretty pathetic post, great way to start off on the forum...

Oh, and BTW, the drunk driving arrest is a pretty low blow considering Frazier was arrested for what was thought to be drunk driving when he was pulled over and slurred his words to the cop, it was later discovered that his slurred speach was just how he talks as a result of his ring punishment. Kind of like looking at Ali and complaining that he always appears in public drunk...

You don't have to go the other way with it, you were doing fine without it.

Yeah, the "Frazier ducked..." argument is one that is particularly spastic but seems to be one that we need to have over and over again on the board...at least these claims seem to be restricted to noobs now.

No, a detached retina forced Leotis into premature retirement after Liston. Otherwise, Martin may have gotten a shot at Joe.
Just how did his daughter care for him, if he was set for life with a healthy pension before she took over his affairs, and is now reportedly destitute since Jacqui got through with it? Apparently, he's been a far, far better father to her than she was a daughter to him. His earnings put her through law school, and dropping his suit enabled her to win the election which put her on the municipal bench in Philadelphia. What did she do for him? She was his lawyer and business adviser, in control of his contracts, product endorsements and business papers from 1989 to 2004. Why is he not as wealthy as Foreman and Holmes today? Could it be because law school and the practice of law turned her into a stereotypical thieving shyster, taking advantage of her father's trust and ripping him off?
