I voted for Floyd. Tyson was great and more popular, but when I saw the topic my first thoughts were 24/7, operating a free agent (no official promoter), buying himself out of contracts, random "Olympic style" drug testing, etc. Floyd has impacted the sport more.

    Not a chance in hell.

You would never have heard of Floyd if it wasn't for Tyson...boxing would've died a death.

UFC would've been the main combat sport...Floyd has done nothing to further boxing in any capacity.

24/7 was a concept devised by HBO...floyd had nothing to do with that.

Olympic style drug testing wouldn't have happened if Pac wasn't starching opponents in a more devastating fashion than Floyd...so Pac could be attributed with some of the credit for that. Had Hatton took Pac the distance, along with Oscar, cotto and margo then not a peep would've been said about Random olympic style testing.

    Seriously not even close.

you would have voted for floyd anyway even if the question is "who is more exciting to watch?"

How anyone can vote Floyd over Tyson is beyond me ..The man retires refuses to face his only rival and fights once a year ..If the question was asked who has made the most NEGATIVE impact on the sport of Boxing than yes Floyd has by those actions listed by leaps and bounds !
