Who made a bigger impact on the sport of boxing....Floyd Mayweather Jr or Mike Tyson?

30,000+ people in Japan watched Tyson live in action fighting the fat Tony Tubbs. Could Floyd draw 30,000+ people from Japan fighting somebody like Andre Berto?

Tyson wouldn't have beaten Balrog though he would've been battered around in comical fashion, taking the classic 10 headbutt combo in the process

 

tyson is how i became aware of boxing, he revived the sport when it was in a steady decline.

 

Tyson ... this dude had a street fight create a boxer after him 'M. Bison' .. then they almost got sued so they switched the names and M. Bison becomes 'Balrog' .. I don't think we gonna see a 'roid mayclimate' any time soon

A more interesting poll would be tyson v ali, or ali v louis. Heavyweight v almost any non heavy is gonna be a miss match. The lighter weights are keeping boxing alive in this dark era of Heavyweight boxing.
