Who made the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight happen?

    Why Floyd ultimately decided to fight Pacquiao? Or why he preferred not to cherry pick this time?

    To set things straight, why Mayweather opted to fight Pacquiao - is it because he wanted to or he had to?

    Floyd. If he didn't want it, it wouldn't have happened. Regardless of pressure from fans or CBS, he had to say yes.

    How did the fight not get made for 5 years, yet Moonves steps in and makes it happen in one year?

    Easy. Moonves knew what Floyd was all about, stopped that b/s and told him to fight Manny as that's the biggest earner for Sho.

    Floyd is on someone else's watch now, ladies. You knew what you got on his own time: RG and Ortiz!

    Not now...

    Pressure from the boxing community. People refuse to watch Floyd against another boxer anymore and he will make 3 fights worth of money in 1, so he had to take it or retire.

    Pacquiao for calling out and cornering floyd good.
    Arum for bringing his longtime friend Les Moonves to the table
    And finally Les Moonves, for telling floyd who's the boss.

    But you would see joyboys like markq, blizzyblizz, codered, etc voting floyd as if floyd wants this fight from the get go.
