Bradley-Alexander was 100x more significant than Dirrell-Abraham. The bigger ***** is the one that bitched out of the bigger fight.
Really? 100x more? I thought it was just 46x more significant. And the bigger ***** is the one who put up an Oscar worthy performance and bitched his way out of his fight with Abraham, and then made-up some bull**** injury to puss out of a fight with his amateur buddy. At least Alexander has never given a performance as awful as Dirrell's fight with Stevens on HBO. Hopefully that ***** ass ***** is barred from both HBO and Showtime so he can fight the remainder of his career on Telemundo. :good
:huh people have been anticipating this fight for over a year now. People were begging for this fight and thought these were the two best in the division. Only Ward vs Bute vs Froch stacks up
Hmm. Tough one! The fight to determine the #1 in what many consider the best division... or... one of more than a dozen fights in a tournament grouping some of the best* in a lesser division? (*surely you of all people agree that the Super Six does not include all the "best" super middleweights?)
I was referring to the impact of the action on the respective fight when I said " more significant " I didn't thought this thread was about how big was a fight comparing with the other.
Hey man, preaching to the choir on Dirrell. I still have nightmares about that Curtis Stevens ****. Still, one guy took a monster shot from a monster puncher while completely undefended. EVEN if he was acting and exaggerating and lying about everything after that, he at least has something of substance behind his being a ***** - whereas Alexander got a little boo-boo from a HEADBUTT HE WAS JUST AS GUILTY OF INITIATING...a boo-boo that the commentary panel all agreed seemed unlikely to affect his vision (and even the ****ing ringside physician was looking at him incredulously like, "You serious, son? :blood"). One guy, if you're gonna call him a ***** (and remember, I do NOT like Dirrell one bit and have long considered him to be a ***** since long before he fought Abraham) at least had some reason to be. Alexander just straight punked out, over NOTHING.
I think both were both stupid and really funny, andre dirrels made me laugh, and alexander made me mad, the fact that the fight was competitive and it was a good fight and he pussies out like that..
No actual fight for bradley-Alexander had me laughing my ass out. here is one guy giving out his intention to punch by sounding off an alarm grunt.:rofl sometimes he flurries with yips and yaps but his hands weren't really moving lol
I guess we'll agree to disagree about Abraham's monster punch. I thought Abraham did not put much body weight behind his uppercut and it was essentially an arm punch. I also think that the last headbutt suffered by Alexander was a lot more debilitating than Abraham's punch. I'm more lenient with Alexander because he's a one-time ***** offender, Dirrell is a multiple offender and should be banished to Telemundo. :yep
I know you are supposed to protect yourself at all times but when you are sitting on the floor of the ring you don't prepare yourself for punches to the face, I think that's why Abraham's punch had such a great effect. No I don't think Dirrell was faking, anyone who thinks should probably have their heads examined. As far as Alexander goes, the man was way overhyped, I knew it after the kotelnik fight, he got a gift against him, you can tell just from the reaction in the crowd during the fight, he knew he was having trouble. I guess some judges give major points for agression even if the boxer is not hitting anything, just not in the Mosley vs Mora fight apparently.
