Who makes a better commentator: Roy Jones Jr. or Lennox Lewis?

Is this a joke ?I mean really ,LL was one of the worst commentators in HBO history !

 

Lewis's commentary on the first Tyson and Ruddock was shocking, he sounded really dumb. I don't know if he is actually dumb or was just camera shy.

 

RJJ hands down. Lewis brought nothing to the broadcast.

 

Jones. Despite his tendency to talk about how great he was, he actually would bring insight to the broadcast.

Lewis brought nothing other than someone to laugh at. He was "definitely" inferior to Jones

 

Jones, becasue he has a big mouth.

Lewis because he doesn't show bias and favoritism like Jones always does.

 

I'm not a big fan of RJJ the commentator but I think he's actually gotten better over the past few broadcasts. RJJ.

Imagine Lennox, Foreman and Jones commentating at the same time...That would be pure gold in my book....:yep

Agree. Always found Lewis a bit dull. Obviously he's very knowedgable, Roy just comes off as more entertaining and appears more enthusiastic in his commentary. Lennox brings this detached persona to everything he does, which is fine for some things but not commentary.

That **** would be classic. Three legends with very different personalities.

 

I would like to see Jones and Tarver commentating together.

 

Between the two I'd go with Lennox, but I'd honestly rather have just Lampley and Kellerman if the third man could only be one of the two.

 

Yeah really enjoy rjj commentary. I think Paulie malignaggi is also very good. American commentary is something I really miss when watching live on box nation

 

I remember Roy Jones predicted exactly what Hopkins was gonna do in the later rounds of Taylor Hopkins 1. Great commentary and perfect prediction
