    Who? :smileysex1:

I think Haye managed to hide his fear the worst. He was both mentally and physically intimidated. He watched the Cunningham fight on replay and said nah I don't want this work.

I think Wlad was sort of dumbfounded, it was the verbal assault that made him insecure in himself. Tried to deny to himself the things Fury was saying were not true when they were.

I don't think AJ is physically intimidated, but he's very very worried about Fury's skill and ability & knows he holds no advantages but raw power.

Wilder I think he cries himself to sleep every night and puts on a pretty damn good facade. He never expected this jokey self-depreciating pasty fat man from England to be such an animal.

When you're in that squared circle there is no hiding from your true self. Every weakness and strength you have becomes clear to all.

I love the way he references heavyweight fights from the past off the cuff, Herbie Hide Riddick Bowe. No other heavyweight today has the historian level of knowledge Fury holds.

Wlad didn't fear him one little bit but was absolutely stunned by what happened in the ring early doors. Wilder might be all kinds of ****ed up now but it's hard to be sure yet; if he doesn't fight Fury we'll know. I voted for AJ. The way AJ talks about Fury is weird.

Wlad was insecure a bit I guess, not really able to figure out Fury and his character had no way to respond to Fury's show (the batman costume, the swearing,...). I think Klitschko underestimated Fury, thinking he only got a big mouth which cant level his veteran experience.

But Wilder was most nervous, then Haye maybe.

None of them feared Fury, they are fighters that believe they can beat anyone. It was only when they actually got in the ring that doubts maybe crept into their minds.

Probably Wilder. Pretty much thought he was chosen by God, blessed by a divine right hand that destroys everything it touches. Then the bald dad bod came and put a savage beating on him.

Mentally, I'm saying AJ is handling it the worst. Hasn't ever gotten to grips with the insults, tries to return fire but clearly looks out of his depth doing it. Wilder seems too dumb to comprehend him and is ignorant enough to believe his own hype. He was destroyed in the ring though. Wlad is mentally strong but he also has a bully mindset where he can't concede a weakness and Fury exposed that.
Haye was plain scared but I never thought he was gonna fight Fury. He's too smart to be messing with Fury and knows what's best for himself.

Yeah, I kind of agree with you and can't explain it. It just seems non-sequential and out there. How does he get onto stuff like how Fury should retire soon and all that there? I dunno, whenever I hear him talk about Fury he seems really spooked to me.

But defo could all be in my head rather than his.

Nope your right..I get the genuine impression he wants Fury out the way without facing him, hes half saying it saying Fury should retire soon, its there isnt it. Joshua has a massive confidence problem with Fury, it seems a few have. Its true how the old saying goes " its all mental" in there...For me, if it wasnt for Ruiz's woeful condition, he could of pressured the moving Joshua more an done it again, Joshua was safety first for the rematch, Ruiz couldve took him out of his game with that low confidence approach, he wasnt confident even though it was relatively easy Joshua..Biggest mistake in prep i can think of, Joshua was cracked and Ruiz f'd up !

He didn't duck anything, he went over on his ankle and had to delay the fight.

Then UKAD decided it would be a great opportunity to take legal proceedings out against Fury. Which I somehow doubt they would have done had the Wlad rematch went ahead to schedule.

Fury was already heavily depressed and the above two things pushed him right over the edge.

Nah Dereck is game, he knew not to go over the line with his antics with Fury though.
