i'll always remember the moment in the second fight when don charles said im pulling you out and dereck said ok without hesitation, fury really put a sustained beating on dereck like he said he would that night.
Game i agree. But ive never seen Chisora show as much respect to anyone else like he has Fury, im leaning towards him having so much respect for fury down to being slightly on the back foot, hes accepted hes the beta out the two without a doubt
Joshua definitely has more than just a raw power advantage over Fury. Can put his combinations together better, has quicker hands except maybe the jab, stronger on the inside, Better punch selection.
None, Fury is no George Foreman. Why would anybody fear him? The worst that can happen is he outjabs you in a boring fight.
I do not think any of them would be mentally fearing him if fighting him now, as he has shown he can be knocked down, can be cut, and has a self destruct element in his psyche. Fury of course came through all those. Any boxer playing Furys jive talking game with him could well get psyched out as he feeds off that. If any of these boxers have negatives in their brain then Fury would be a big mental challenge, however Furys dabbling in excess drugs, alcohol and food plus alleged mental health issues had its own fear element for him, it stopped Wlad from getting the rematch that Wlad sought. At end of day facing Fury is just another opponent for the above fighters, albeit a very very capable one, one you will be very well paid for fighting, one who has not got power of punch to kill you etc etc, so cannot see mentally fearfulness being present anymore than facing any other very capable opponent.
Klitchko was not intimidated he was just frustrated as he didn't expect Fury to be so awkward and skilled. Wilder was not intimidated in the build up but he certainly was after the first round of the rematch, he was never going to quit but I think he realized that this guy is not only a better boxer than me but he is bigger and stronger and he does not fear my power. I think that Haye pulled out because he knew he couldn't win, when he first signed he probably convinced himself he only needed to land one big shot and he could KO Fury but the closer it got and the more he saw Fury in person I think he changed his mind. AJ is hard to read he seems like a strange guy, he showed great mental strength is the Klitcko fight but appeared to quit in the Ruiz fight and he did seem to be hesitant in the Ruiz rematch but fought a good smart fight but didn't take any risks like he usually does, but I can't blame him for that as another loss would have been a huge set back.
Its tough between wilder and AJ; the former is fearful based on the two fights, the first robbing his aura of insurmountable power, and the second any confidence he could beat the man. For AJ it is a world of unknowns but the fear very real.
I don’t think any of them are except haye. Wlad and joshua don’t seem scared of him and Wilder is likely blinded by his own hype
Right now, Wilder. Before there 1st fight though I think he thought he was going smash Fury to bits. Haye got injured and at the time I think he didn't rate Fury, just thought he was a big useless clown that he would bang out. But over time he has now realised he's the real deal. Wlad similar to Haye. I think he was absolute dumbfounded that he couldn't do anything with him once in the ring on the night. AJ I genuinely think he fancies it.
