A lot of people missed wathin his skills and missed his charisma after all he knows how to sell a fight.
I didn't miss him either, really. He must of had pressure to fight more legitimate Welterweights as opposed to Jr. Welterweights. He only fought 2 of them anyway, Judah and Baldomir.
Didn't miss him as he always seemed to have an excuse to not fight the best fighters in his division which drived me nuts. But now he's back I'm pleased he's actually fighting Mosely, he surprised me and I've now got a lot more respect for him. It's kind of made me question whether he has ducked anyone due to being scared of getting beat and that he really does think he is so much better than everyone else. He's surprised me how cocky he's been leading up to the Mosely fight; if he beats Mosely convincingly I will be very impressed.
I don't miss the how much money he draws and all that crap. Who cares about that? he should let his skills do the talking against the elite fighters. Not the cherry picked ones.
if all they wanted was to see him lose. they wanted to see him. they wanted to see him lose to margarito, mosley, pac-man, cotto, williams, forrest, and even pavlik. plenty missed him. few will say it. i was looking forward to his inevitable return.
For **** sake. I can't believe any of you actually took his "retirement" seriously! The moment it was announced it was ****in obvious what he was doing. I was never less than 100% sure he would fight again. Top active fighters have had longer layoffs than Floyd's so called "Retirement."
