He was a great fighter. I knew he would have changed his life after his stint in prison. Something about his personality, you knew he was going to change when he said he was a new man. He had one of the best runs in boxing. Beating Casamayor, Freitas, and Castillo in consecutive fights.

Nigel Collins wrote a good article about Corrales, saying that it's often hard to separate a fighter from a man, that the demons inside that drove Chico to do some terrible things and reckless things such as ride a motorcycle while being ****-faced drunk is also what made him such a reckless (and entertaining) fighter.

Everybody has faults and everybody does bad things. Corrales is no exception - what he did was terribly wrong. The drunk driving not only endangered his life, but the lives of others. But you can't define him as a bad human being based on these two instances.

this is how i feel:good . i think he was a warrior in every snese of the word...and i dont like using the word warrior becuase it makes fighters seem more granduer than they are but he was one of the few who DID put everything he had into boxing.

i never liked him as a person very arrogant very picky a horrible man wouldnt be that far. he would politrick around and get out of fights make excuses when out of the ring...in the ring he was fire outside the ring he was a horrible man

come on man i dont like him but i respect him for what he did....as a fighter.
how many people go home by car while drunk....it's not uncommon. the domestic thing is shocking but he defintly turned his life around.
    but stilll a dickhead
