MMA was at it's best when PRIDE F/C was around. What was not to love? Great music, special effects, ring entrances, FIGHTERS, kicks to a downed opponent, stomps, and a very educated crowd. I miss the PRIDE days.

I miss a prime crocop, and an option outside of the UFC.

I still weep for you PRIDE. RIP:?:?:|

Not something that I think about daily... but I loved Pride. It was great.

I miss the brutality but sometimes you had a feeling it may be a tad too much.

Nevertheless, Strikeforce has help fill a void for so much wasted and left over talent. So I feel like the majority of quality fighters out there have a home. That's not to mention Dream, K1 etc taking up the rest.

I do because of the simple fact that it was more MMA.

But, it is better now that they're all, pretty much with few exceptions, in the same talent pool and we can make great, great fights regularly.

I didn't care for the ring, as it sucked for grappling and the restarts were tilting at best.

Miss it, but not 100% sad to see it "gone".

I miss it. I was actually thinking about that last night as I watched TUF finale.

Dana has been lobbying for knees on the ground for a while but has been unsuccessfull so far and as for soccer kicks and head stomps I don't see them being legal in North America anytime soon.

I miss Pride but I'm not losing sleep about it anymore as I'm enjoying the current climate in MMA. UFC 115 from last week was as good as any good Pride event. WEC puts on quality show time and time again. Strikeforce offers an excellent alternative to the UFC and it even has Fedor for all of the Pride fans. Dream and Bellator offer even more alternatives. There's something out there for every MMA fan.

UFC does not need more dangerous techniqes, but needs recognise only America wrestles and the rules favor wrestlers, if it wants to be worldwide.
