Who would you like to see him fight next:

Takashi Uchiyama - unification and 1 V 2 but not sure if the fight could be made.

Juan Carlos Burgos - On a decent run, is no 3 in the division, only loss coming from an on form Hasegawa.

Juan Carlos Salgado - Lost not long back to Uchiyama but has decent wins over Linarez and Mendes. may have unfinished business with Beltran to cap off.

Roman Martinez - Havent seen much of this guy since he lost to Burns, would be a solid win on his record especially if he beat him in a better style than Burns.

Bryan Vasquez - unbeaten Costa Rican

Jorge Solis - seems to be in the firing line after KO losses to Gamboa and Uchiyama

Cellestino Caballero - back on form after decent wins over Honsono and barros, not the fighter he was but if he fancies a step back up a weight then this could be a decent scrap

    Others - state and why

    1. Uchiyama would be best - but will never happen cause Japanese fighters never leave home in pursuit of boxing glory and Broner's a mainstay HBO fighter now, they'd never broadcast the fight from Japan vs an unknown Japanese fighter.

    2. Caballero- hard nose fighter with good chin and good name, Broner can actually learn from this fight.

    3. Salgado would be a good win.

    4. Martinez would be a good win.

We also have the winner of JML vs Salido 2 to consider and IMO that's the best fight.

A fight with Uchiyama or Salgado would definitely give Broner better credentials at the very weak division of 130.

He needs rounds, and he needs to be put in with a fighter who can do things he can't. It's the only way he'll evolve. I agree with Caballero.

One small point about Ricky Burns : It's a shame he didn't have more confidence in his ability, because where as I think Broner would win, he isn't walking through Burns by any means.

Uchiyama should be his next opponent. According to Broner and his team they already contacted him and he refused. Doug Fisher is checking out whether it's true or not. Broner said he would fight anyone @130 or 135. Let's see! Except Uchiyama, Martinez would be a fun fight. Unfortunately Mini-Burgos shot himself in the foot with his last performance..he went all Paul Williams on the other guy.

Well, he really said "at a catch weight". At least in the interview I saw. That tells me he is not confident about moving up right now.Won't be long though.

Screw that catch weight bs. Would he get much credit if he won forcing a catch cw? Just go for another fight or 2 at 130. Preferably against someone from the top 5.
