Foster Jnr to win the lonsdale outright then get the European title.

I really like Buckland, but I don't think he will get the kind of push needed to win a world title, and that's not even taking into consideration whether he is physically capable of winning one or not. As TFFP said though, there is a ceiling on everyones ability and there is no shame at maxing out at Euro level, which I think is the most plausible outcome.

personally i dont think Buckland would beat sykes in a rematch. Sykes downfall started rolling the second he signed up to prizefighter. buckland took the belt away from sykes off the back of p.f.
liam walsh would also give him difficulty.
but that been said,G.B has really improved his game and im with most on here,in that euro levels as far as hell get. he did look good against truscott and i wish him all the best.he seems a real good guy!

He's sparked him in one, and then beat him decisively over the distance, I don't think you could make an argument for a 3rd fight whether the first was in PrizeFighter or not. Just my thoughts. :good

Yeah Buckland did ok but to be honest he was fighting a drained or what looked like a drained fighter in Truscott.

A few comments saying he's reached his level, maybe thats true but I doint think we can make that judgement yet as he's still fairly young and still has time to improve.

I also think he does have enough power to keep opponents off as his workrate is excellent.

Saying all that I do think he will fall just short of World Title.

Yeah It seems Foster Jnr is probably next seems the right fight to make too Ex Euro Champion in the same promotional stable and should be a great fight and a step up. What's not to like in this fight.

I do think Buckland beats both, but I'd love to see the Walsh fight, I think it'd be a great one.

What i meant is buckland had the upper hand in there british championship fight because of what happened in p.f
Sykes went in to that fight with the spectre of what buckland did to him in p.f.
Sykes would of been very weary of bucklands right hand and it cost him some of the early rounds IMO. Had that fight gone another 3 rounds sykes would of won. Buckland never rocked sykes althougth sykes rocked G.B in the 10th and 12th.
If they met again sykes wouldnt be weary about bucklands power cos he hasnt really got any.
I went to watch Tommy Coyle on fri at hull (BTW hes the future british lw) IMO Sykes was cheif support hell have another fight in about 3month then hell be making his campaign back to take the lonsdale.

I never said Ronnie was ready to fight Buckland next fight I agree he needs a few more fights. Ronnie is a huge Superfeather a lot of kickboxing experience and im sure he can compete with these guys now whether he would win or not I think time will tell. Buckland has a very similar style to Appleby and Walsh, I think both are good punchers and these fights make a lot of sense. Buckland is not ready to move on yet. Why does everyone want fighters to move forward we have a good british scene with a lot of good young boxers coming through let them fight each other then move forward once we have someone proven at this level. People saying Ricky Burns is over rated but people come on here talking up Gary Buckland youve got to laugh.
