Miller is one of my favorite fighters to watch now. Brings the fight everytime and looks to finish. Id like to see him get a title shot but I know its probably another win or 2 away unless someone who my rank ahead of him gets injured.

Guida is a great shout, but he's coming off a loss so it'll probably be someone else.

****, the lightweight division is packed.

Depends if Henderson/Edgar winner is ready for a quick return. There's no-one at the top of the division on a big winning streak so his overall record is probably enough to earn him the shot. The fact that he'd be trying to avenge one of his defeats doesn't hurt.

Lightweight is pretty weird right now STACKED but who is most deserving ? Maynard is coming off the KO loss, Diaz is hot but is 2 wins enough just like is Miller in good enough position after the Henderson loss just 2 fights ago, Pettis-Lauzon same deal the winner is on a 2 fight streak is that good enough ? I hope and expect Henderson-Edgar to be a War and maybe the winner needs a nice rest period. You could go ahead and make Diaz-Miller right now since neither took too much damage in the recent bouts. Winner gets a title shot and maybe you can do something like Gray vs Guida and Lauzon-Pettis vs Barboza. The options are endless in this divison.

Yeah its stacked but has no contenders. Partly the UFC's fault for failing to do straight contender vs contender matches, which has instead seen a lot of the top guys be upset by guys not on a winning streak. To me I'd like to see Nate Diaz face either Anthony Pettis (if he beats Lauzon) or Barboza to set up the title fight after Miller.

You don't think it might be too soon for him? I mean he's looked really good but Barboza hasn't faced a top ten guy yet, let alone someone like Miller who's gotta be top five.

Something designed to move him towards a title shot. Miller was notching up wins but lost to the possible future 155 champ but came back strong. Lauzon vs Pettis winner is a good one as that win puts either in the same mix as Miller.

Guida lost to Hendo too so that might be an interesting one to show who was that little bit close to the title shot.

I'm going to have to say Diaz because Cerrone was on a hot streak before he got beat by Diaz, a win by either guy would put them top 5.

    Either Guida or Lauzon-Pettis winner.

If Bendo takes out Edgar I imagine Miller will be waiting a bit longer for a title shot just because that loss is still pretty fresh, but then if Miller can get a win over Edgar as well it'd set him up nicely for a shot at Bendo.

If Edgar retains his belt, a win over Lauzon, Pettis or maybe Diaz would be in a nice spot to challenge.

    **** I love this division.

The current UFC lightweight division is the most stacked in MMA history. The list of top fighters is insane:

    Edgar
    Henderson
    Maynard
    Miller
    Pettis
    Diaz
    Guida
    Barboza
    Cerrone
    Lauzon
    Guillard

Plus we have Florian, who is a threat to most guys, stepping back up and the possibility of Melendez coming over from Strikeforce and Aldo making the jump up from 145, both of those guys are potential champions. It really is amazing.

Miller/Maynard II is the perfect matchup.

Nate Diaz needs an opponent.. If he doesn't get a title shot next then give him Barboza or Pettis/Lauzon winner.
