Didn't Samuel Peter already beat Who Next? How can we expect him to get all the way down to 154 for a Cotto fight?

I don't understand the question. Did you mean to say, "Who necks!"?

In that case, the answer would be Paul Williams.

 I'd wager that Big Sam would be a little weight drained at 154.

Well I dont see goldenboy putting Canelo in with Cotto just yet, I can see Canelo-Kirkland happening despite this bull**** eliminator with Lara vs Matiroysan or Paul Williams so honestly we could be looking at Cotto pushing for another belt

    Cornelius Bundrage- IBF Champion

    Zaurbek Baysangurov - WBO Champion

and of course there is Austin Trout who is likely to become full champion when Mayweather vacates, leaving cotto to pick up his old belt.

other than that there isnt much more for cotto to do, he doesnt have to go up in weight to fight JCC because he is no longer Arums puppet and Pacquiao will likely face Marquez for a 4th time before going up in weight to fight Miguel which he has already stated he wouldnt do

so im calling Cotto - Trout in the fall for the WBA Super welterweight title

Cotto vs Canelo would be a farewell type war/fight. Id favor Canelo in that one.

The fight i really want to see is Cotto vs Ortiz. That would be a nice come back fight for Cotto and Ortiz. Ortiz can fit into 154 and hes said before that hes willing to move up. I hope they seriously consider this match up after Ortiz beats Berto again

Why not take a ranked guy, KTFO him, and set up something bigger? I don't think his next fight needs to be against a super tough opponent. 154 is pretty deep right now and he is the second biggest cash cow in it (assuming Mayweather goes back down.)

Bundrage, if he wins I would pursue a rematch with Pacquiao/Mayweather, he could unify with Canelo or challenge Martinez. If not he could just retire after winning another belt.

Evangelista said he should retire right now, but I doubt that will be the case.
