Some media outlets are reporting Pavlik-Sergio Martinez in October? At least, preliminary negotiations have begun. Talk about another pointless fight. Am I the only one that thinks Bob Arum is seriously butchering this guy's career? Arum needs to spend less time Pac and Cotto and more time on his other fighters. Pavlik is one of the most marketable fighters in the sport, yet he's fighting the Mora's and Martinez's of the world.

 

MW is a sad state right now.
Pavliks best fight there would be to take on the Welterweight/Jr. Middleweight P.Williams.
Then move on to 168lbs where the big boys play.

incorrect...the sticking point w/ sturm is an offer of less than half of what pav made to fight lockett. on top of the poor $$ offer to pav, why would sturm want to take that kind of money anyways? he does well for himself in germany. its all $$...sucks but what can ya do??

Sorry, but why? AA in one sentence DID call out both Pavlik and ODH...FACT. If you're gonna be fair, you need to be making threads of Oscar ducking AA too, because Pav and ODH recieved the SAME "offer".:yep
