I thought you are always whinning about Abraham padding his record in Germany? I dont get it. here is Ray Robinson's record for you my friend: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=009625&cat=boxer&pageID=3 I say let the guy try to unify the titles and fight the best as he says he wants to do.
I'd like to see him defend his title a couple of times and then go for a big name. 2-3 fights with lesser fighters with an Andy Lee or a Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. mixed in. Then take a fight with Pavlik, and then try to unify or whatever he wants to do.
Sure he would but Martirosyan is tougher than someone thinks about him. That's why I want this fight - it'll give Dmitry some rounds and a little bit more experience. Also, Gennady is promoted by Jab and they have a long history of partnership with German Titov. So, this fight is easy to be arranged, it'll also give Russian fight fans a much needed world title fight between tow Russian on the Russian soil plus I would be able to see it live as well... :hat
The way Sam Peter says it, eh? No way - that's unique ^_^ "Хто дальше?!" - "Khto dal'she?!" is a variant, lol :deal
Boo is actually 100% right here. The guy has 17 fights. He's good but he's not THAT good. Pav, Martinez and Williams are not a good idea at the moment.
Boo is actually 100% wrong here, all he can do is dig up numbers and make false conclusions. Pirog actually beat the very tough Sergey Tatevosyan in his 4th fight, and after 17, he looks absolutely ready. Are you really going to go against your own eyes after watching Pirog vs. Jacobs (watch vs. Jantuah as well) and argue with totally irrelevant numbers that he's not ready? I say Pirog was more ready for a world class fighter in his 4th fight than Pavlik in his 20th and Chavez Jr. in his 40th.
I think it is "Кто дальше" or "Kto dal'she" with k like in the word key. Or "Кто следующий" (Kto sleduyoushee) in the sense who is the next in the line. I am not a native Russian speaker so I am not 100 % reliable.
Lol, it was Macklin who backed out with a nose injury, then vacated the title Pirog was supposed to fight for. I think Pirog picks Macklin apart.
The shot the knocked Jacobs out would not touch a good fighter. Any top guy would see that stutter step and blast Pirog in the chest. You are getting seriously carried way with the fact that a prospect beat another prospect. Yes, a world title was involved. No, it was not a world class fight.
